- Lompoc Salad Bar Assembly at Hapgood Elementary

In February 2010, Hapgood Elementary School introduced a Salad Bar full of fresh fruits and vegetables to its lunch line. s'Cool Food Team Members held assemblies to demonstrate proper "Salad Bar Etiquitte" and share a tasty snack of tangerines, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas.

During the 2007-2008 school year, s'Cool Food conducted a county-wide Needs Assessment of 110 of 116 Santa Barbara County public schools.
