Student Of The Month
The Student of the Month Project pairs students with a vegetable or fruit, explaining a bit about both! It provides an easy for both students and parents to learn about the various fruits and vegetables in our local community, why they're good and how they grow, along with a recipe on how to use them.

November's Harvest of the Month is Onions. Onions make a flavorful foundation for many cooked recipes, as well as in raw dishes like salsa.

October's Harvest of the Month is Squash. During the Autumn months, roasted hard-shelled squash such as butternut, acorn, and spaghetti squash make quick and easy side dishes that are packed with vitamins.

September's Harvest of the Month is the Tomato. Tomatoes are used by many cultures as the base for delicious sauces and stews.

August's Harvest of the Month is the Green Bean. Green Beans make a crunchy addition when thrown raw into a salad and they are also delicious when steamed.
